Below are some frequently asked questions received from our website and phone. We cannot address all questions received, so we have taken the most frequent to share among the community. If you have additional questions or concerns, please call (210) 275-9957.

Question: We’ve been on ghost tours where people jump out from behind objects and the whole tour was more like a circus attraction than a ghost tour.  Does your tour do this?Answer: We do not stage or pre-arrange any events that may occur at any site.  There are no actors, and no trickery of any kind involved with what we do or with what you may see or hear at the sites we visit.  All information provided is factual and without exaggeration.  Our ghost hunting tour is age approved from 0-99.

Question: Can we bring our own equipment?
Answer: If you want to bring some device used to detect ghosts, like a camera, that’s certainly okay. Keep in mind that we are first meeting ghosts in a outside public location which sometimes make EMF detectors go nuts. Honestly, in walking through this city there are many, many man-made energy sources. I think many EMF readings are naturally suspect. Audio recording of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) suffers for the same reasons. There have been some, but difficult to obtain, successes. Ghosts are experienced in many other ways, for example; “cold spots” we encounter can be felt.  A thermal camera in an open environment creates a lot of false positives.  But photographs of other mysterious things happen on almost every Ghost Hunt!  We’ll show you some of the most modern equipment used in the field of Ghost Hunting.

Question: Is there a bathroom stop on your tours?
Answer: We tell guests to try and use the restroom prior to the tour, however there is one restroom available along the tour.  There is also an opportunity to purchase drinks available.

Question: Do you offer refunds if we can not make the tour after purchasing tickets?
Answer:  Refunds are not issued for any “no shows” so be sure to check your schedule.  Refunds are only issued during times of inclement of weather by contacting tour operator to receive a refund code.

Question: Do you offer private tours?
Answer: Yes. Please contact us for additional information and pricing.

Question: Do you offer group rates?
Answer: Yes we do. Groups of 7 of more should call for special discount.

Question: Can we bring food or drink on your tour?
Answer: We welcome drinks on the tour.  We must ask that NOalcoholic beverages be allowed during the tour due to the cities street level open container ordinance.

Question: Do you cancel your tour in case of inclement of weather?
Answer: The safety of our customers always comes first. If there is heavy rain and/or lightning we will cancel a tour due to the potential of sites not being accessible and dangerous (ie sidewalks can become slippery and pot holes can be misleading) due to flooding.  Announcement will be made on the “On Twitter” section located at the bottom of the website no later than 7:40PM on the day of the event.

Question: What forms of payments do you accept?
Answer: We accept cash and most major credit cards on site and through our website. No checks are accepted.

Question: Do we need reservations?
Answer: Yes. Walk-ups are welcome however, we do encourage reservations. Everyone will have access to hear the information, and enjoy the tour.  Please be sure to wear a pair of comfortable shoes and be ready for a great time!

Question: Do you work for Ghost Hunters International, what is it like?
Answer
:  My contract with GHI (Ghost Hunters International) was from 2008-2009.  I have appeared on the show and I was a reserve member.  It is a wonderful experience to work with a team of great individuals(cast and crew).  Traveling the world investigating alleged haunted sites is an unforgettable experience.

Question:  Are you part of Ghost Hunter’s with Jason and Grant?
Answer
:  My team is affiliated with their team called T.A.P.S. http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/ I am also founder of a team in San Antoniohttp://www.ghost411.com/ that has its affiliation with T.A.P.S as a family member.  I am also a recruiter for T.A.P.S which means I assist in screening teams of investigators to help handle the thousands of requests received yearly. I am not part of Ghost Hunters the show.

Question: What is the difference between Ghost Hunters and TAPS?
Answer
:  Good question!  T.A.P.S is the name of the investigative team you seen on the show.  Only part of the team including its founders, are on the show called Ghost Hunters as seen on Sy Fy Channel.  T.A.P.S is headquartered in both California(West Coast) and Rhode Island.(East Coast)  Members of T.A.P.S actively investigate cases apart from the show.  The name Ghost Hunters refers to the shows title.
